Hey! artists out there are searching for basic blending tools and technique ? I have explained some basic blending tools and how to use these tools ?
1. Blending Stump
Paper Stumps are excellent for blending and smoothing pastels, charcoals, graphite or any other dry media. Can be used to smoothly blend shaded areas, soften lines and mix colors without using your fingers. Can be easily sharpened with a sanding block or a pencil knife.
2. Soft Brush
Premium Synthetic Hair-Softer ,Denser and Silkier than stiff animal hair. No Shedding Hair and Not hurt your smooth skin. it can be used to smoothly blend large shaded areas and blend specially skin for smooth blending
3. Cotton/Tissue paper
Use tissue paper that does not contain lotions or similar additives. Both facial tissue and bath tissue will work. For smooth blending you’ll need at least enough to fold around your index finger.
4. Cotton Buds
Cotton buds consist of one or two small wads of cotton wrapped around one or both ends of a short rod made of wood, rolled paper or plastic. it is fun to use these buds for blending and it will never disappoint you in blending small shaded area

5. Finger
This method of blending is not highly recommended but still we can use fingers for blending the pencil shading, but make sure that you finger tips are free of oil or clean.
6.Without Blending
In some cases we don’t need to blend the shaded area
